Hot Rod Tours

Every now and again we get emails from rodders overseas, coming to Australia and wanting to know where to go and what to see whilst they are here. This is the first attempt at putting together some of these suggested places and because were based in Victoria of course it gets done first. We are very interested in your comments on this and would be pleased to hear from anyone who wants to be added to the list or anyone who does the tours. As time and interest permits we'll be adding other States and more information.
Hopefully the next version of thsi page will feature some maps and more tour details

Each tour lists permenant attractions, usually shops, or museums and at the bottom will be a list of events close to these locations. So depending upon on what time of the year your travelling, what your likely to see.

Don't forget to check the Events Page for more information and accurate details of each event.

Castlemaine boasts of being the Hot Rod State of Australia. There are numerous business in and around Castlemaine that are based on Hot Rodding, there are certainly more than those listed here but not all have a shop front or cater to the general public. So only those that have some sort of attraction to offer are listed.

Southern CountryTour

This is probably the most picturesque of all the tours, Starting from Duttons in Richmond, heading south to the Mornington Peninsula, then across the bay on the car ferry and into Geelong then back to Melbourne. A very pleasant extension to this trip would be down to Lorne on the Great Ocean Road.
