How to get there
From Melbourne; head out on the Tullamarine Freeway, and onto the Calder Highway, follow this all the way to Ballarat. Ararat is the next major town on from Ballarat, follow the new freeway which now by-passes the town and Ararat is another 92 K's on. It's 202 K's from Melbourne to Ararat and the trip takes about 2 and a half hours.
