Bendigo is approximately 150K's north east of Melbourne. It is an area steeped in Australia's history, being part of the Gold Rush era. For years the biggest swap meet in Australia. The swap meet is held at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds, the grassed in-field originally reserved for classic car parking it is now all dedicated to sites with a much smaller display on the hill in one corner of the showgrounds. Very dusty and nearly always warm to very hot.

The Bendigo swap meet was held on the 18th and 19th of November 2000
