John's Picnic is organized by John Katsanis and the members of Kustoms of Australia. The township of Pakenham is located approx 60 kilometres east of Melbourne. All makes and models, hot rods, customs and street machines are welcome.

John's Picnic is to be held on the 1st and 2nd of November 2003

Format

It is a 3 day event kicking off on the Friday night, with a bench racing session at Choppers. Saturday is usually a show and shine or cruise and Sunday is at the Pakenham Racecourse. This year will see the premiere of the Kustom Kulture exhibition and the first ever Un-Finished Nationals.

How to get there

From the city, get onto the South Eastern Freeway (note this is a tollway)(alternative route is Princes Highway), and head for Dandenong, turn left off the freeway at the Prices Highway exit(35). Proceed to Pakenham along the Princes Highway and freeway which by-passes Berwick (Saturday) and Beaconsfield. For Sunday entrants, continue on and turn right just past Packenham township turn off, down Ryan Road, Racecourse is on the right.
